Introducing coaching for the parents of overweight kids and teens

Our one-of-a-kind program gives parents
the support they need to make real change

Live Weekly Video Chats with an RD

Parents meet with their Registered Dietitian coach and other parents in weekly live-1-hour videochats. Parents get personalized advice and education from an RD who gets to know them and their families personally. Parents leave each session with actionable goals and feeling prepared to make sustainable changes at home.

Advice from a Mental Health Expert

fitsmi knows that when children are struggling with their weight, the problem is one part nutrition, two parts psychology. That’s why we bring in a mental health professional as a guest speaker twice during the program. They will cover the psychological components of being overweight, as well as how parents can best support their child in developing a healthy and happy relationship with eating.

fitsmi Handbook + Recipe Book

When parents enroll in the program, they receive the fitsmi Group Coaching Handbook, which is packed full of targeted materials, exercises, tips and tricks to help get their families back on the path to a healthier home. Parents will also get a 30-page recipe book, curated by a Registered Dietitian and a Le Cordon Bleu graduate, filled with kid-friendly, quick and easy ideas for feeding their families.

Personalized Family Meal Plan

At the beginning of the program, a parent fills out a detailed questionnaire about their family’s eating habits. Then, a Registered Dietitian Coach will create a meal plan tailored for them.
